Keeping your true feelings buried inside you can be like a suicide mission. It starts eating you from inside. It tends to take away your happy feeling and leads you down the path of despair. The best therapy for all your negativity is to vent it out. Make a trustworthy friend with whom you can comfortably vent out all your pent up feelings. It could be a colleague from work or an old college mate. Meet up and catch up on your feelings. It could be your husband too, if he is willing to listen to crib about things that he might not like hearing about all day long. I wouldn't recommend the latter though.

Talk openly about your situation and your emotions attached to the situation. Vent all your frustration out. Also be nice enough to let her vent out her feelings too. Listening to her patiently could be a nice gesture from your end. This way both of you know each others secret Incase you want to get back at each other. No I am definitely not giving you ideas. It's better if you choose a non judgemental person to vent your feelings to. It would be a great relief to not have anyone to judge you for your doings. I suggest you don't vent out to mom, because she will always support the person again you. If you don't believe me then please do feel free to try and let me know how you were treated by your mom.
